Hotspot Innviertel Award 2025:
RDG Recycling Group receives an award
RDG Recycling Group has been honoured with the Hotspot Innviertel Award 2025. This year’s award focuses on “Change” and recognises companies and organisations that embrace change with courage and innovation and are committed to developing new solutions.
A key factor behind RDG’s recognition was the commissioning of its new plastic separation plant. This state-of-the-art recycling technology represents an important step towards a functioning circular economy and demonstrates how technological progress and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
New plastic separation plant drives innovation in recycling
The new mechanical plastic separation plant enables the precise separation and processing of complex plastic composites to a previously unattainable level of purity.
Thanks to this prototype, which is unique in its current form, RDG can process more materials into clearly defined fractions and return them efficiently to the material cycle.
“With this plant, we are setting a new standard in plastic recycling. It allows us to separate even challenging plastic mixtures and recover valuable resources,” says Franz Kobleder, Managing Director of RDG Recycling Group.
Innovation and sustainability as core principles
With the new plastic separation plant, RDG further strengthens its focus on innovation in the recycling industry. The company demonstrates how economic development and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
By continuously developing its recycling processes, RDG actively contributes to conserving resources and advancing a functioning circular economy.
